This summer program offers incoming freshmen more than just academic enrichment - it provides essential tools for success. Over three weeks, students will strengthen their skills in math, English, and science, while also learning organization, stress management, and other key strategies to thrive in high school.

Through sessions on notetaking, time management, and using technology effectively, students will build study skills tailored to their learning styles. Hands-on activities and personal guidance will help them approach high school with confidence and enthusiasm. Along the way, they'll form connections with teachers, counselors, and peers and get to know the campus, setting the stage for a smooth and successful start at Saint Mary's this fall.

  • iPads or Macbooks are required for this program. Please refer to the Saint Mary's website at saintmaryschs.org under "iPads and other Networked Devices" in the "Academics" section for details.
  • Students will need to bring a paper copy of their summer reading book, "Prisoners of Geography: 10 Maps that Explain Everything About the World" by Tim Marshall.
  • Students need to bring their water bottle (labeled please!) each day; snacks and supplies will be provided.
  • We encourage all students to also participate in an afternoon enrichment camp from 12:30pm - 3:30pm.
