HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER ENRICHMENT

Our High School Summer Enrichment Program provides an academic enrichment course that will engage and challenge high school students. We believe in creating experiences directed to help each student become more confident in themselves and able to think critically.

  • The curriculum is designed to give students an opportunity to explore topics and ideas that they might not have mastered or been exposed to during the academic school year.
  • The 2021 summer session begins on Monday, June 21, and ends on Friday, July 16.

Classes will not meet on Monday July 5.

Please register early! Classes will close as they fill.

Writing Reboot

In this course, students will review the elements of analytical writing while preparing for academic success in the coming school year. Students will attend four class meetings (in person or on Zoom) to receive personalized instruction in writing, analysis and critical thinking.

After completing the class meetings, students will submit a writing sample for personalized feedback and meet with the teacher to review their work. At this review meeting with the teacher (to be scheduled during the first weeks of the school year), each student will review the feedback and, with support, design a plan for successful academic writing at their particular grade and course level.

This course is designed for students of all course levels and writing abilities.
